The three rigid film/sheet extrusion projects that will be delivered to major processors in Eastern Europe are examples of Costruzioni Meccaniche Luigi Bandera SpA (Busto Arsizio, Italy) in the field of film and rigid sheet extrusion capabilities:
1. A compact multi-layer PET rigid film/sheet extrusion line for thermoforming and FFS (form filling and sealing), with a maximum output of 750 Kg/h and a clear width of 1200 mm, equipped with Bandera's patented 2C70 52 L/D co-rotating twin-screw main extruder, TR65 35 L/D single-screw co-extruder, single-manifold flat die, horizontal roll stack. The production line is completed by thickness control, online PE lamination and two-position cantilever winding system.
2. Multifunctional and high output, Alpha 2-185 rigid film/sheet extrusion line, mainly used for multi-layer PET extrusion, but also suitable for processing PP, PS and PLA. The maximum output of its PET processing is 1600 kg/h, and the net width is 1580 mm. The production line is equipped with Bandera’s patented 2C105 52 L/D co-rotating twin-screw main extruder, a TR90 35 L/D single-screw co-extruder, an automatic Bandera single-manifold flat die, and an electric Horizontal roll stack film/sheet processing system, thickness control system and online PE film lamination system with horizontal axis.
3. Precise, high-tech, high-yield, multilayer sheet extrusion production line for the production of rigid or foamed PET for thermoforming, form-fill-seal (FFS), printing and industrial applications. Its design clear width is 1500 mm, the maximum output of rigid PET is 1500 kg/h, and the maximum output of semi-rigid PET is 750 kg/h. The production line includes two co-rotating twin-screw extruders, one 2C85 52 L/D and one 2C70 52 L/D, one TR90 35 L/D single-screw co-extruder, two flat dies, ready to use For rigid products and Bandera flat die for foam/semi-rigid products, physical foam PET extrusion system, horizontal roll stack with horizontal axis system for film/sheet processing, and for thickness control and semi-automatic cantilever winding system.
The production line also includes an online PE film lamination device, which is also a special device for semi-rigid products. This series represents the best performance of Bandera technology in terms of design, products and performance. This is the fourth Bandera production line commissioned by the customer.
