This is the porch pirate season of the year-make sure your package is safe

We have done so much online shopping that you will inevitably receive a package delivered to your home, but it also makes you very likely to steal a package from the porch. Watching the porch pirate ring camera video is shocking and sometimes fun, but when your things are stolen, they will never be fun.

The porch pirate follows the deliveryman on the camera. A video of the porch pirate following the deliveryman in an unmarked vehicle has received a lot of views. Many people wonder why the deliveryman did not notice the couple who followed him. Others wondered why more porch pirates were not caught. This may be because it is difficult to remove the license plate from the stolen car, and unless you can do it, it is difficult to figure out who the porch pirate is.

In this holiday season, you can protect your package from porch pirates in the following ways:

1. FedEx delivers in Walgreens-deliver pre-packaged and pre-labeled shipments. FedEx shipping labels and envelopes are not provided in the store. There are weight and size restrictions for packages. Click here for more information.

2. UPS store and Drop Box location-If you often shop online, or send a lot of packages to your kids during college, this may be a good choice. Click here for more information.

3. Work-make sure your boss agrees to you and your colleagues to deliver things to your business location, but because someone will be there during working hours, this is a safe way to ensure that you receive the package.

4. Friends-As my working hours are very strange and many friends are working, my home has become a place for packages, especially during the holidays. This is also a great way to get together after get off work to pack things and have a drink before going home.
